Join our team as we ride across the state of Iowa on the biggest organized bike ride in the country! The deadline to register online as a weeklong rider for this year’s RAGBRAI is midnight, April 1. What is RAGBRAI? It is a weeklong, 450 mile bike ride across Iowa, from the Missouri to the Mississippi Rivers along with 25,000 of your soon-to-be best friends. The Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa is also the most fun you’re gonna have all year long. Think summer camp for adults. And we’re going to do it on High Rollers!
I rode my first RAGBRAI in 1986 on a 15-speed Schwinn Voyageur SP full loaded touring bike. And I was hooked. I’ve done over 20 RAGBRAI’s since then and 3 of them on the High Roller. It was shockingly comfortable doing about 40-45 miles a day. It was one of those things where after it was over I thought, “Well crap, I just proved that was possible. Now I have to do it again!”
So if you like bikes, pie, pork chops, and some of most gracious people on the planet, you’re going to love coming with us on our adventure!
When: July 18-25
Where: Starting in Sioux City, ending in Davenport
How: We’ll depart Denver with a van and trailer and will have a vehicle pass so we can pull into the campgrounds.
Cost: $160 (due April 1)
If you’ve ever considered a big ride like this, then this is the one. If you’ve never considered a big ride like this, then you don’t want to miss it.
