We’ve been invited to the tenth annual Park Hill 4th of July Parade! The parade is held in northeast Denver’s historic Park Hill neighborhood, one of the city’s largest, oldest and most diverse areas. This community-friendly event will again be marching along 23rd Avenue on Independence Day.
Stretching from Dexter St. to Krameria St., this year’s parade will include more than 50 groups, including floats, marching bands, costumed characters, classic cars and more!
The 2019 Park Hill 4th of July Parade starts at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, staging starts at 12:30 pm.
“Following discussions with public health officials at the city and at the urging of the Mayor during consultation yesterday and this morning, the Denver St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee has made the tough decision to cancel this year’s parade due to the on-going situation surrounding COVID-19,” Theresa Melaragno, president of the Denver St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee, said in a news release.
“The health and safety of parade participants and attendees is our highest priority every year, and the call to cancel the 2020 parade was made out of an abundance of caution to ensure that we are doing our part to prevent the potential spread of COVID-19 to those who join us every year to celebrate this annual tradition,” she said.
